2 Stupid Road-user today !!

firstly on my way to xiao xiong xiong hse.. as it was during off work peak hr.. i choose to use the commonwealth rd instead of aye incase of Jams.. after i pass ghim moh 2 bikes came.. an R6 & a super 4.. the super4 rider was riding so fast then to slow down every junction to wait for his frene the r6.. "i mean to ride fast if ur in a hurry is ok.. but riding fast = showing off waving in & out of traffic THEN wait at junction for ur frene?? wtheck... Fw51*5* !!!

jus went to chinatown wif my xiao xiong xiong after our jog & dinner.. on my way there, there was this BMW S**6622* jus dash out from minor rd into my lane "FINE!' i let him come out.then he is not stepping on the petrol !! & even step on the brake....... that cause mi to use my brake for nothing. following that he turn left into minor rd again, i was feeling soo anoyed by that idiot that i turned left into the rd as well thinking of stopping him to screw him or maybe jus to see where he park.. but he stop at the rd side. "i think he is seaching for road or waiting for ppl.." i've cooled down abit by then.. hai! in the end i nv went up to him jus making a U-turn & heading to chinatown...
TO that DRIVER : if ur looking for road/ppl DUN RUSH out into ppl's lane then to Cause them to brake WAITING for u to make up ur mind!!!!!! -_-

wad A day !!

wad a day for mi on 20th may 2008 !! it was an ordinary tuesday.. my baby was abit low on petrol & i am almost late for work.. so i went to work safety.. as i was leaving my office towards the petrol kiosk, i ended up pushing my baby for a 1km walk under the hot hot sun.. +spoke to an lta officer for a sec & eventually saw the officer in "action"
this is wad happen.. as i am turning towards jalan ahmad ibrahim's shell once i enter into aye,my baby came to a stop & immediately i knew tat im out of petrol "for the 1st time in my baby's life" so no choice i got down & started pushing along the aye towards shell, as i passby a bus stop an lta officer on his patrol bike was taking down numbers from the veh that zoom past him.. he turned to mi & smile,followed by wad happen ? so i jus replyed him,dunno it went down suddenly.. maybe out of petrol. then i continue my scroll & sun-tanning wif baby...
YES! i reach the petrol station finally, parked my baby on main-stand open up the petrol cap..THen i heard a LOUD " ping-bong" followed by a veh horn... i turned to look at the aye & saw 2 lorrys crash into each other.. soon after the lta officer whom was "camping" near the bus stop came into action & within mins a tow truch had arrived.. by then i have cooled down abit & after my filling up of petrol i went off.. to enjoy the wind of the day wif my baby...

hmm had my usual sunday soccer game, today was quite abit bored as alot of ppl cant make it :(
my Xiao Xiong Xiong cant make it as well.. BUT im happy as she had closed an insurance deal.

now im having aches on both my ankles.. -_-
looking forward to next week soccer wif my Xiao Xiong Xiong :)

Baby got stuck..

hai~ my poor baby got his main stand "stuck" in a carpark's parking lot's hole on thur !!
it took mi & xiao xiong xiong 45 mins (with the help of 2 other ppl) to get it out of the holes man !
tot of complaining to hdb, but thinking back if i were to complain would they(hdb) do anything ? probably they might jus reply mi an email or a call to express their concerns.. then forget the matter because im the onli ppl to complain abt that ?
so the outcome of my thoughts are.. jus live it the way as it is bah.. unless i got stuck again & this time i might jus call them(hdb) to come & help mi release it.. -_-.

Soccer Updates

Yeah, Man utd the Champions for Bpl Again :) it was one of those exciting finishes from the league's history. With chelsea coming soo close, they(chelsea) really had a chance to win it under the nose of utd.. But on a great finishing night, man utd lived up to the game & won 2 goals at wigan, chelsea on the other hand had only managed a draw from bolton.. wad a result.. :)
we had reached the end of the season.
hope that man utd can still be the champion next yr. (hopefully chelsea won't be anywhere close ba.. :)

People who sleep fewer than six hours a night — or more than nine

ATLANTA - People who sleep fewer than six hours a night — or more than nine — are more likely to be obese, according to a new government study that is one of the largest to show a link between irregular sleep and big bellies.
The study also linked light sleepers to higher smoking rates, less physical activity and more alcohol use.
The research adds weight to a stream of studies that have found obesity and other health problems in those who don't get proper shuteye, said Dr. Ron Kramer, a Colorado physician and a spokesman for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
"The data is all coming together that short sleepers and long sleepers don't do so well," Kramer said.
The study released Wednesday is based on door-to-door surveys of 87,000 U.S. adults from 2004 through 2006 conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Such surveys can't prove cause-effect relationships, so — for example — it's not clear if smoking causes sleeplessness or if sleeplessness prompts smoking, said Charlotte Schoenborn, the study's lead author.
It also did not account for the influence of other factors, such as depression, which can contribute to heavy eating, smoking, sleeplessness and other problems.
Smoking was highest for people who got under six hours of sleep, with 31 percent saying they were current smokers. Those who got nine or more hours also were big puffers, with 26 percent smoking.
The overall U.S. smoking rate is about 21 percent. For those in the study who sleep seven to eight hours, the rate was lower, at 18 percent.
Results were similar, though a bit less dramatic, for obesity: About 33 percent of those who slept less than six hours were obese, and 26 percent for those who got nine or more. Normal sleepers were the thinnest group, with obesity at 22 percent.
For alcohol use, those who slept the least were the biggest drinkers. However, alcohol use for those who slept seven to eight hours and those who slept nine hours or more was similar.
In another measure, nearly half of those who slept nine hours or more each night were physically inactive in their leisure time, which was worse even than the lightest sleepers and the proper sleepers. Many of those who sleep nine hours or more may have serious health problems that make exercise difficult.
Many elderly people are in the group who get the least sleep, which would help explain why physical activity rates are low. Those skimpy sleepers who are younger may still feel too tired to exercise, experts said.
Stress or psychological problems may explain what's going on with some of the lighter sleepers, experts said.
Other studies have found inadequate sleep is tied to appetite-influencing hormone imbalances and a higher incidence of diabetes and high blood pressure, noted James Gangwisch, a respected Columbia University sleep researcher.
"We're getting to the point that they may start recommending getting enough sleep as a standard approach to weight loss and the prevention of obesity," said Gangwisch, who was not involved in the study.

Berlusconi quits roll as AC Milan president

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has resigned from his position in charge of the Serie A giants with immediate effect, the club announced today.

According to Italian law, the 71-year-old has to leave to avoid a conflict of interests when he begins his third stint as Italian prime minister.

It is expected that Berlusconi will hand over the reins to current vice-president Adriano Galliani.

STOP Feeding The cats !!!

well i mean, if kind hearted ppl out there whom are giving a life to even strays animals by feeding them food. the feeding of cats/birds/dogs.. strays i mean is not a crime in HDB area. but look if the feeders can feed the animals at a location which will NOT cause any Unwanted smell/Trouble to passerby then carry-on. jus take a look at this Once-beautiful seat of a bike below my hse.. The cats did a wonderful job to tear up his seat !! My Bros's Silverwing's seat was damaged by cats, SO Im not gonna let my baby get disturbed by those cute little cats.

NEW MODEL "Motorbike" !!!

oki i saw this "motorbike" i called it a motorbike because when i fist sight on this parking in the carpark i tot "hey a new model ? soo small" but after i take a second look at the bike found it to be a bicycle but the special part is the bike even handlelock. bicycle parking in carpark ?
i wonder if the town council will issue a summon? "but cannot becos not license plate". Maybe they will jus tow/drag the bike back to scrap yard ? :)
